A new spray park opened on Memorial Day at the Ohio County Park and it provides an inexpensive and fun way to cool off the kids. There are also several shade trees by the spray park for parents to lounge under and keep an eye on the kids from their lawn chair or blanket.
The spray park is located on the back side of the Ohio County Park behind the amphitheater. Now that school is out, the spray park is open daily from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. Just press the button on the tall red pole and the water will come out.
Parks Director, Susan Chinn said the spray park can even be rented for parties.
