Early morning fire destoys house on Belltown Road
The remains of a home that was destroyed by fire on Belltown Road north of Hartford early Tuesday morning.
An early morning fire laid waste to an abandoned house on Belltown Road, early Tuesday morning.
Firefighters received a call about a house fire at 2343 Belltown Road around 4:15 a.m. on Tuesday morning. The house was consumed by fire when firefighters arrived on the scene. The fire was under control rather quickly and completely extinguished in about 45 minutes, though several firefighters remained at the scene for some time to monitor hot spots. The house was destroyed.
Both the Hartford and Masonville Fire Departments responded to the fire.
Authorities say there were no injuries and the house appeared to be abandoned.
Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire at this time.
