Hartford Fire Department to host Hoses and Hot Rods Sept. 29

The Hartford Fire Dept. will be hosting a Hoses and Hot Rods Car and Truck Show on September 29 at the court-house square in Hartford from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

This will be an open class competition and all cars and trucks are welcome, new and old. The entry fee for the cars or trucks will be $10.

Trophies will be awarded to the Mayor’s Choice, Sheriff’s Choice, Fire Chief’s Choice, a Participants Choice voted on by all car owners and a Best of Show voted on by the Hartford Fire Department.

Admission to the Hoses and Hot Rods Car and Truck Show will be free

The Hartford Fire Department will be selling food and t-shirts. There will also be a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle. Door prizes will also be given away throughout the day.

There will also be plenty of games for the kids.

All proceeds will go to help the Hartford Fire Department.
