OC’s Brown, Hall compete in Spartan Golf Invitational

Ohio County High’s Isaac Brown and Trent Hall competed as individuals in Monday’s South Warren Spartan Golf Invitational at Bowling Green’s Indian Hills Country Club. Brown, as sophomore at OCHS, shot an 86 while Hall, a junior, recorded a 100 score.

Clay County’s Tyler McDaniel, also competing as an individual shot the tourney’s low score with a two-under-par 69. Ryle High School took the team title with a four-player score of 306.

Team scores from Monday were: Ryle 306, Paducah St.Mary’s 316, George Rogers Clark 316, Louisville Trinity 319, South Warren 321, Cooper 329, Lone Oak 329, Union County 332, Franklin-Simpson 333, Glasgow 338, Muhlenberg County 339, Pulaski County 342, Greenwood 344, Grant County 345, North Laurel 346, Heath 351, Ft. Thomas Highlands 359, Warren East 361, Warren Central 368.

Dawson McDaniel, the son of Ohio County natives Terry and Holli Baxley McDaniel, shot an 87 to help South Warren to their fifth-place finish.
