Lady Eagles fall 2-0 to DC Lady Panthers
Ohio County High’s Lady Eagle soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision Saturday evening to visiting Daviess County. Saturday’s outcome pushed the Lady Panthers to 4-1-1 on the year while Ohio County slipped to 3-1-1.
Daviess County dominated time of possession in Saturday’s match, and finally scored on midfielder Skylar Walden’s solo effort to the left side of the OCHS net with 11:05 left in the first half. That 1-0 lead held until the 14:15 mark of the second half when midfielder Madison Haycraft set up striker Bailey Cox for an insurance goal.
Prior to the start of Saturday’s match, Ohio County coach Chuck Adams was honored with a plaque noting his 100th win as Lady Eagle head coach. Adams reached the milestone with OCHS’ 2-1 home win Tuesday night over Owensboro.

Ohio County’s junior varsity team took a 1-0 win in Saturday’s preliminary match, with Allison Browning scoring the match’s only goal.
