David Arthur Larsen, 78, of Cromwell, Ky., formerly of Cleburne, Texas, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014, at the Magnolia Village in Bowling Green, Ky., David was born April 6, 1936, in Denver Colo., to the late William Arthur and Audrey Clayton Larsen.

At age 6, his family moved to Ogden, Utah, met his wife and later married Sept. 14, 1954. He was a life long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, United States Air Force Veteran and retired maintenance supervisor for an aluminum can manufacture.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Diane Heitz.

David Arthur Larsen is survived by his wife of 59 years Ellen R. Larsen of Cromwell, Ky.; two sons, David Christopher Larsen, wife Karen, of Morgantown, Ky., and Anthony Arthur Larsen, wife Arna, of Rangely, Colo.; two daughters, Vickie Lin Pape, husband Steve, of Morgantown, Ky., and Kathy Sue Douglas, husband Bill, of Morgantown, Ky., 25 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lois Denney of Ogden, Utah, FranSina Young of Georgetown, Texas, and one brother, Bill Larsen of Salt Lake City, Utah, and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Saturday, July 19, 2014, at 12 p.m. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Chapel.
