Lillian Pirtle Turnbull, 91, of Hartford, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014, at Ohio County Hospital. She was born May 14, 1923, in Ohio County to the late Clifton Pirtle and Roxie Spencer Pirtle.
She was a member of Green River Baptist Church in Cromwell and was a homemaker.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Turnbull, who passed away in 2004, and her brother-in-law, Cecil Turnbull.
Survivors include her sister, Mary Haven and her husband, Roy, of Beaver Dam; sisters-in-law, Shelby MacFarlane and Wanda Holland both of Rochester Hills, Mich., one nephew and several nieces.
Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Cleatus Bowman officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
