Mrs. Evelyn Sawyers, age 95, of Guston, Ky., returned to her Heavenly Father on July 25, 2014.
Mrs. Sawyers was a member of the Church of Christ of Brandenburg.
Among those that preceded her in death include her parents; husbands, Woody Sawyers and Van Beasley.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Wilbur D. Beasley (Mary), Harrell Beasley, Bill Beasley (Jean), Mack Beasley, Sue Montgomery, Phyllis Singleton and Dinah Conder (Ranvel); 24 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; a host of great-great grandkids; brother, Carlie Wester; and sisters, Georgia Vance, Estelle Staarup and Bessie Daugherty.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 28, at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road; use John Harper entrance) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Schoppenhorst.
