Patricia Gloria Sorrentino-Brown, 43, of Centertown, Ky., passed away peacefully on Monday, July 28, 2014, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born on Nov. 17,1970, in Everett, Mass.
Patty was a member of the Centertown Volunteer Fire Department and the founder of Firehouse Friends, a fundraising program to acquire the necessary supplies for volunteer firefighters and first responders. She attended the Centertown Holiness Church.
Patty is survived by her husband, Jackie Brown of Centertown; three daughters, Jessica Sorrentino of Centertown, Ashley Sorrentino of Centertown, and Miranda Irvin of Beaver Dam; three grandsons, Scottie Hamilton, Alexander Sorrentino and Nicholas Sorrentino, all of Centertown. She is also survived by her mother Sandra Sorrentino; brother, Tony and his wife Michelle Sorrentino and their children, Ava and Anthony Sorrentino, all of Saugus, Mass.; her Auntie Patti; and cousins, Nicole and Joey Melanson; and her father, Wayne Sorrentino of Farmington, N.H. Patty leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Service will be held at 9 a.m. on Thursday, July 31, at William Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Winfred Burden officiating. Burial will be in Taylormine Cemetery. Visiting Hours will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
