LouvaEverleyLouva B. Everley, 95, of Beaver Dam, passed away Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, at Ohio County Hospital in Hartford. She was born March 16, 1919, in Ohio County to the late Charles Alfred and Estella Payton Blanchard.

She was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church, worked for General Electric, Ken Rad, and Beaver Dam Nursing and Rehab. Mrs. Everley served many years as a foster parent, there was as many as 22 kids under her care.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Weston Everley who passed away on Jan. 3, 1979, one son, Benny Everley, and two grandchildren, Donald Gene Geary and Reagan McKenzie Willis.

Survivors include one son, Woody (Mary Ann) Everley of Beaver Dam; three daughters, Betty (Roger) Lindsey and Brenda (Tom) Howell both of Beaver Dam, & Mendi (Terry) Willis of Bowling Green; four brothers, Randall Blanchard of Sonora, Ky., Glenn Blanchard of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Willis Blanchard, Darrell Francis, and Kendell Francis all of Beaver Dam; and one sister, Christine Sauer of Owensboro. She was blessed with 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 23 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, with Dr. Glenn Armstrong officiating. Burial will be in Central Grove Cemetery near Centertown. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
