Michelle E. Casey, 34, of 680 West Third Street; Calhoun, Ky., died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014, at the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Michelle Elaine Casey was born Oct. 2, 1979, in Owensboro, Ky.
Michelle was a clerk at the Dollar General Store in Calhoun and a member of No One Left Behind Tabernacle in Calhoun. She was a 1998 Graduate of McLean County High School, received an associate’s degree in business, and her children were her whole world.
Michelle was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy E. Scalf, who died Jan. 27, 2011.
Survivors include two sons, Allen Lindsey and Ethan Wolfe, both at home; a daughter, Kaitlyn Lindsey, at home; her companion, Herbie Wolfe of Calhoun; her father, William Lee Casey, of Beaver Dam; a sister, Crystal Casey, of Beech Grove; and her stepfather, Leroy Scalf, of Island.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. Bill Willis officiating. Burial will be in the Calhoun Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Michelle’s family from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday at Musters in Calhoun.
