Judy Joette Southard, 70, of Beaver Dam, passed away Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born July 26, 1944, in Beaver Dam to the late Avery and Lorene Heflin Hill.
She was a member of Pond Run Baptist Church in Echols and she was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Corbett Layton Southard; her son, Christopher Southard; her daughter, Annette Southard; two brothers, Avery Hill and Charles Randall Hill; one sister, Barbara Wright, and one grandson, Jacob West.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Wesley Hanson officiating. Burial will be in Slaty Creek Cemetery near Prentiss. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service Sunday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donation to the American Diabetes Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
