John Beatty, 63, of Fordsville passed away Saturday at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. He was born in Roseville, Ky.
John was a loving husband, father, and papaw. John enjoyed gardening, fishing, being on his tractor, cooking on the grill, eating out and spending time with his family. He was employed by Custom Fab in Philpot, Ky..
He is survived by is wife of 39 years, Cathy (Greer) Beatty; three children Kim (Matt) Gilstrap, Shawna Brown, and Shane (Sara) Beatty. He loved his six grandkids very much, Taylor Mills, Emma and Mattie Gilstrap, Gavin and Raegan Brown, and Kaden Beatty and his Mother Lulu Pearl Beatty. His siblings Ray, Darrell, and Dennis Beatty, all of Fordsville.
Services will be on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 11 a.m. at Cecil Funeral Home in Whitesville, Ky. Visitation will be on Tuesday, Sept. 9, from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. and after 8 a.m. on Wednesday. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
