Micheline Whittaker, 42, of Hartford died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Owensboro, Ky., to Gaynell Allen and the late Monnie Brown.
Micheline was the Ohio Circuit Clerk since 2013. She had been the Deputy Clerk since 1994 completing 20 years of service to Ohio County. She was instrumental in the start of Drug Court in Ohio County and was very active in Trust for Life.
Survivors include her husband, Bryan Whittaker; her daughter, Malyn Howard, of Hartford; her son, Bryant Howard, of Beaver Dam; three stepsons, Lukas, Mason and Nate Whittaker, all of Hartford; her mother, Gaynell Allen, of Hartford; two brothers, Brad (Kelley) Brown, of Hartford, and Michael (Laura) Brown, of Hartford, also many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services are at 12 p.m. Saturday at Hartford Christian Church with Bro. Mike Sweeney and Bro. David Bullock officiating. Burial will be in Centertown Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam and from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time at Hartford Christian Church in Hartford.
The Family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Trust for Life, Shop with a Cop, Trooper Island and Kosair Children’s Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
