RethaNealRetha Nell Neal, 78, of Livermore, Ky., died Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Retha Nell Case was born July 30, 1936, in McLean County, Ky., to the late Haskell and Flora Ann Ford Case and was married to James William Neal.

Retha was a homemaker and member of Who So Ever Will Mission in Calhoun. She enjoyed going to church, singing, and watching the hummingbirds.

In addition to her parents, Retha was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Neal, who died May 16, 1995, and by a son, Danny Neal.

Survivors include three sons, Donnie Neal, of Sacramento, Kenny Neal, of Calhoun, and Ardell Neal, of Livermore; two daughters, Sharon McElvain, of Bremen and Patricia Nifong, of Livermore; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Virginia M. Hibbs, of Greenville, Lillie Neal, of Louisville, and Sue Broadley, of Calhoun.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Revs. Steve McElvain and Donnie Neal officiating. Burial will be in the Point Pleasant Cemetery in Ohio County. Friends may visit with Retha’s family from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday and from 10:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. Tuesday at Musters in Livermore.
