Vonda Parson Woods, 55 of Centertown died Friday, Sept. 26, 2014, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Belle Glade, Fla.
Vonda was a homemaker and loved spending time with her three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father Fred Gordon Parson and her step-father and mother Billy Ray and Thelma Lewis Barrett.
Survivors include her husband: Larry R. Woods; two sons, Larry R.(Hannah) Woods, of Centertown, and Justin Woods, of Centertown; a daughter, Becky(Mark) Hoskins, of Centertown; three grandchildren, Keegan Woods, Heather Hoskins and Payton Woods; three brothers, Jerry(Mary) Parson, of Rosine, Freddie(Janie) Parson, of Centertown, Larry(Dorothy) Parson, of Florida; three sisters, Carolyn Daugherty, Joan Lamb and Ruby(Charles) Daugherty, all of Centertown; also several nieces and nephews.
Services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Larry R. Woods officiating. Burial will be in Daugherty Family Cemetery in Centertown. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until funeral time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
