Barbara Ann Stephenson–Phelps, 67, of Hartford, passed away Monday, Oct. 6, 2014, at her residence. She was born Dec. 12, 1946, in Charleston, Mo., to the late Johnny Stephenson and the late Gladys Crawford Terry.
She was a CNA Leisure Years Nursing Home in Owensboro.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Betty Sue Phelps, and five brothers, David Stephenson, Johnny Stephenson, Jackie Stephenson, Roy Stephenson, Sr., and Paul Stephenson.
Survivors include her companion Eugene Phelps of Hartford; two sons, Richard (Tabitha) Phelps and Terry (Sue) Phelps; two daughters, Maryann Phelps and Shirley (Larry) Calloway, all of Hartford; two brothers, Jerry Stephenson, of Florida, and Tommy Stephenson; three sisters, Mary Stephenson, of Chino, Ariz., Sue Seeman and Betty Macias, both of California; and two half–siblings, Timothy Terry and Kathy Jones, both of Central City. Barbara was blessed with 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Barbara’s family has requested visitation from 2 p.m until 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8,at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. There will be no funeral service.
Expression of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Barbara Phelps Memorial Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
