Brenda Faye Kennedy, 63, of Glenville, died on Oct. 15, 2014. She was born on Sept. 11, 1951, in Manila, Ark., to the late John W. and Irene Moyer Spurlock.
Brenda was of the Methodist Faith, was a Social Worker at GRADD, and enjoyed horseback riding and fishing. Brenda loved life and found her greatest joy spending time with her family and taking care of her grandchildren.
Brenda was also preceded in death by her brother, John A. Spurlock, and two grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband 19 years, Harlan T. Kennedy, Jr.; daughters, Amelia Storm, of McLean County, and Jessica Slack, of Muhlenberg County; stepsons, Robert Kennedy, of Beaver Dam, Reggie Kennedy, of Houston, Texas, and Shane Kennedy, of Hartford; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, William A. Spurlock, of Huntingburg, Ind., and Stephen D. Spurlock, of Ridgefarm, Ill.; and sister, Lynda K. Robbins, of Brazil, Ind.
Service will be private.
