Jackie B. Whitler, 77, of Beaver Dam, passed away Monday, Nov. 10, 2014, at his home. He was born Aug. 29, 1937, in McHenry to the late Gilbert and Inez Taylor Whitler.
He was a retired coal miner and was of Baptist faith.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Ray Whitler and Jimmy Whitler; one sister, Margaret Wallace; and one son, Donald Ray Whitler.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Knight Whitler, of Beaver Dam; one son, Terry Whitler (Teresa Summers), of Echols; one daughter, Kimberly Whitler, of Henderson; two brothers, Danny Whitler, of McHenry and Cecil (Tina) Whitler, of Beaver Dam; one sister, Joyce Decker, of Rockport, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 12, at Render Memorial Cemetery in McHenry with Rev. Pete Leach officiating.
