Lacy ‘Toothpick’ Mullins

Lacy “Toothpick” Mullins, 78, of Hartford, died Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014, at his home. He was born in Corbin, Ky., to the late Harley and Mary Crook Mullins.

He was a retired UMWA coal miner working as a master welder and electrician and he served in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Barnett Mullins; two daughters, Cathy Mullins, of Atlanta, Georgia and Penny Mullins, of Owensboro; and one grandson, Chase Mullins.

Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery. Military Honors will be presented by the Ohio County Honor Guard. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until funeral time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
