Chester ‘Tuck’ Tucker

ChesterTuckerChester “Tuck” Tucker, 70, of Owensboro, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014. He was born Jan. 8, 1944, in Daviess County, Ky., to the late Richard L. and Myrtle Burdette Tucker. He retired from Century Aluminum after 32 years. He enjoyed computers, playing guitar, and classic cars.

Aside from his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Bonitti Tucker (2005), and a son, Ricky Tucker (2006).

Surviving are his children, David (Sonya) Tucker, of Henderson, Tonya Norris, of Owensboro, Natasha (Robert) Jarboe, of Knoxville, Tenn.; two stepsons, Chad Greer and Wesley Greer, both of Ohio County; 14 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one brother, Charles Tucker of Denver, Colo.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home with burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home and from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
