Bobby Pierce, 77 of Morgantown, Ky., passed away Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Bobby was born May 26, 1937 in Ohio County, Ky., to the late Noble and Mae Tarrance Pierce.
He was a member of Belmont General Baptist Church, Cassia Lodge #272 and retired retail car dealer.
Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one sister Shirley Maiden.
Bobby Pierce is survived by loving wife of 53 years, Betty Hunt Pierce, of Morgantown, Ky.; one son, Steve Pierce, wife Teresa, of Morgantown, Ky.; two daughters, Kim West, of Morgantown, Ky., and Lisa Flener, husband Tim, of Morgantown, Ky.; grandchildren, Brooklyn Pierce, Kenzie and Kenten Flener and Macy and Brody West, all of Morgantown, Ky.; three brothers, Buddy Pierce, wife Nancy, Gary Pierce, wife Janet, all of Ohio County, Ky., and W. D. pierce, of Louisville Ky ; one sister, Sheryl Casteel, of Ohio County, Ky., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Belmont General Baptist Church Tuesday, Dec. 23, at 12 p.m. with Bro. Gary Embry Officiating. Burial will be in the Belmont Church Cemetery. Visitation Monday, Dec. 22, from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel and Tuesday, Dec. 23, from 9 a.m. until funeral time at 12 p.m. at Belmont General Baptist Church. Masonic services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Monday, Dec. 22, at 6:30 p.m.
