Kathie Elaine Unser, 51, of Evansville, formerly of Baizetown, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville. She was born June 9, 1963, in Hartford, to the late Augustus Lee Willoughby and Trena Mae Daugherty Willoughby.
She was of Baptist Faith and a homemaker.
Beside her father she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry Wayne Willoughby and Jeff Willoughby.
Survivors include her mother, Trena Mae Willoughby, of Evansville; two daughters, Tia Marie Stats Cavins, of Evansville, and Misty Dawn (Dee) Derant, of Lexington, S.C.; her godparents, Bill and Sherlene Woolen, of Evansville; half-brother, Carl (Debbie) Willoughby, of Horse Branch; and half-sister, Anita Fay Willoughby, of Louisville; seven grandchildren, Akira Dawn, Wyett Lee and Trinty Mae, all of Lexington, S.C., Arian Lipson, Andrew Alexander Miller, Ethan Lee Statts, and Gracie May Cavins, all of Evansville.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, with Rev. Troy Frady officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Rosine. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
