NikolasCoomesNikolas Anthony Coomes, age 9, passed away on Aug. 29, 2015, in Owensboro. He was born on Aug. 14, 2006, in Franklin, Ind., to Chad and Sharon (Huggins) Coomes.

Nikolas attended Wayland Elementary School in Hartford, Ky., he Loved watching WWE wrestling, Nikolas along with his siblings loved playing Minecraft with his brothers and sisters, and watching Dan T.D.M. and Stampy Longnose on Youtube. He loved playing outside as he had just learned to ride his bike without training wheels. He had the biggest heart, always thought he was the funniest guy in the room, he was always the first to volunteer to help with anything. He will be dearly missed.

Nikolas was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Nancy Jarvis and Lawrence Coomes.

Nikolas is survived by his parents, Chad and Sharon (Huggins) Coomes; brothers and sisters, Elizabeth Buonopane, Samual Coomes, Jackson Coomes, Mason Coomes, Ellee Coomes, Loukas Coomes, Linken Coomes; maternal grandparents, Mary and Robert Lines, of Whitesville, uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Funeral services will be Friday, Sept. 4, at 2 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Troy Richards officiating. Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 4 from 11 a.m. until time of service.
