RobertDavidWadeRobert David Wade, 55, of Owensboro, Ky., died Friday, Sept. 25, 2015, at his home. He was born Feb. 13, 1960, in Camp Lejeune, N.C.

He had worked for Progress Printing for 22 years and was also currently a security guard with Nighthawk Security and employed by Danhauer Drug Store. He was a member of Lewis Lane Baptist Church. He was a drummer who played with Midnight Flyer, the Moon Lighters, and at Lewis Lane Baptist Church. He loved his dog, Isabella.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eugene Coleman and Leonard and Edwina Wade.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Charla Wade; his parents, Hugh L. Wade, of Owensboro, and Linda Coleman McLaughlin (Murray), of Beaver Dam, Ky.; his grandmother, Veda Coleman, of Beaver Dam, Ky.; stepchildren, Shaun Miles, of Philpot, Ky., George Miles, III, of Lewisport, Ky., and Anthony and Angie Miles, both of Owensboro; seven stepgrandchildren; a sister, Cathy Wade Garner, of Owensboro; an aunt, Peggy Wade, of Owensboro; an uncle Stephen Wade (Mollie), of Bowling Green, Ky., and cousins, Jordan Franklin and Jacy Wade, both of Bowling Green, Ky.

Services are 7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 28, 2015, at the Chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro. Graveside services and burial are 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30, at Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam, Ky. Visitation is from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
