Shirley J. Greer, 79, passed away Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015, at the Ohio County Hospital. She was born in Jenkins, Ky., on June 11, 1935, to the late Augustus H. and Nettie Lipps Hayes. Shirley was a LPN and worked at several nursing homes in the area. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed her work helping people in the nursing homes.
